Yayy!!! An empty package! I am so happy to have finished this product. When I first bought it, I was super excited, but it didn't work as well as I thought it would. It felt good when my hair was saturated with water, but if I squeezed my hair then applied it...not so good. Anyway, I refused to waste the tube so I just used it up and it feels like something was lifted off my back. I love buying new hair products so this just gives me an excuse to get something off of my ever growing list of wishlist.
I was reading another blog and something that I want to get my hands on, specifically Kinky Curly products, will be sold in Target starting this summer. I didn't really want to order it online (I hate waiting), but thanks to Target they will now be carrying Kinky Curly. Yes! I want to try it for my daughter's curls and of course on my hair too ;). I really don't want to get into the natural hair hype, but I have to find good products for my daughter's and my hair. I am not my hair, nor is the "natural hair thing" my lifestyle. Just not getting anymore relaxers...plain and simple.

Don't Let the Humidity Beat Your Hair
We all know too well what the summer time means when it comes to our hair. The dreaded humidity...can't avoid it, but we can fight that despicable beast. I've used all the products pictured above during the hot summers to keep flyaways, frizz and dryness at bay. They all put up a pretty mean fight against the humidity. A quick rundown of each product as follows...
Chi Silk Infusion: Great for flat ironing. Smooths and "silks" hair. Adds moisture.
Avlon KeraCare Oil Sheen with Humidity Block: Gives hair a wonderful sheen. Great for flyaways.
Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Smoothing Serum: Also great for flyaways, frizz and blowdrying.
I use these products in conjuction with each other or alone depending on what I do to my hair that day/week. I suggest that they are used sparingly to avoid build up and weighed down hair.

Review: Alberto VO5 Moisture Milks Moisturizing Conditioner (Strawberry & Cream)
Fact about me: I love hair care. I am always doing research on new products that will do as it says.
As I am browsing Youtube, I stumble upon a video featuring this particular conditioner. The "youtuber" that was doing the review was raving about it. She said it was $1, so in my head I was like bullshit. What can a conditioner that cost nearly nothing do for my hair!? I went out and bought it so I can give it a try, well because I am a product junkie. I tried it a couple of times and I was blown away. It smells so good and it makes your hair soft and detangled! I use it as a deep conditioner sometimes too. When I use this conditioner my hair seems to be a lot less frizzy if I let it air dry so that's a definite plus. Overall, I think it's worth every penny (I get mine for $0.79 from my local grocery store) and worth a try. It doesn't break my bank (I can go in the piggy bank to buy this lol) and it's effective.
